I had an early appointment this morning and saw something I haven’t seen in a long time – SCHOOL BUSES!
I know that there has been a debate among teachers, parents and government officials as to whether to have children return to virtual or brick and mortar school, but it was so nice to see big yellow buses rolling down the street this morning. It was a giant symbol of normalcy in a not so normal world right now.
I’m just as concerned as everyone else about children and teachers getting the virus. In fact all but one of my grandchildren are participating in virtual school, but it was so nice to see the buses this morning.
It was almost like the buses and drivers were saying “Take that Covid! We’re taking our world and our lives back!” Made me smile.
So:

Today I am thanking God for BIG YELLOW SCHOOL BUSES – a giant symbol of normalcy that put a smile on my face.
I do want to take a moment to pray for all students, teachers and staff all over the world beginning this new school year. May God keep you all safe and healthy whether you are in brick and mortar or virtual school.
What are you Thankful for today?
I’m sure God would love to hear from you as would I.
Blessings to all.
From my heart to yours, VICTORIA
