ME. ME. ME. What’s in it for ME? What about ME? Me, My and I are all first person words that can extend past letters and become and describe who we are. Is that who you are? Is that who you want to be?

If you live life with ME synonyms as your MONTRA, then you live a life that is self – centered and selfish. You live life according to what YOU want, what’s best for YOU and how YOU can get ahead, beat the game, be better than everyone else, be TOP DOG, Number ONE, so YOU can be all and have all – forgetting about and not caring about anyone else.
I pray this is not you. I pray that you are not a ME person, but if this sounds like you and your’e saying to yourself – Well, it is about ME. It’s supposed to be. I need to watch out for number one, because no one else will and just like the song says ‘I did it MY way’, – then I feel sorry for you. Your world must be a lonely place if your’e the only one it.
The Websters Dictionary’s definition of SELFISH is: being concerned excessively or exclusively with oneself : seeking or concentrating on one’s own advantage, pleasure, or well-being without regard for others.
You might believe this way and have this kind of “ME” attitude even when you pray. “God help ME. God I need this to happen. God I need this job, car, house, man, woman. Please help ME. God protect ME… Gimme, gimme, gimme.” You pray this way and then you wonder or even get mad at God when things don’t go your way or you don’t get the answer YOU want from God.

My friends God did not create you for you and your pleasure. God created you for HIS pleasure and out of Love which you are here to give away.
We were created by God to worship Him, to glorify Him, to be His Hands,Feet and Voice to the world, to love and serve others in His name and to share Jesus Christ‘s gospel with the lost. This is the chief purpose of mankind.
You are not of this world – you are His. It’s not about you – it’s all about Him and if you live your life for Him it becomes all about the OTHERS in your life.

Isaiah 43:7 Everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.
Websters Definition of being UNSELFISH is – willing to put the needs or wishes of others before one’s own : not selfish : GENEROUS
King David wrote in Psalms 119: 36-37
Take on the Fruit of the Spirit which is:

There’s that word SELF again. Having self control means controlling that urge to think only about yourself – putting Self on the Shelf and insread, put on a life of stewardship instead.
It takes work to have a YOU attitude instead of a ME attitude. It takes prayer and the Grace of God to live unselfishly. It’s human nature to be selfish. It’s a self preservation instinct that is in each of us.
Even Christ’s self preservation kicked in when He asked his father, God, to – “take this cup from me” – when Christ was faced with being captured by soldiers, tortured and crucified. Of course He was scared. Of course the human side of Christ didn’t want to be tortured and die, but He thought of YOU and I first. He couldn’t stand the thought of Heaven without YOU or without ME …so Instead Christ sacrificed HIMSELF for ALL OF US.
Jesus made it very clear who the ME in your life is supposed to be and it’s not You. HE is the way if you want an example of selflessness. He is the way to understand what it truly means to put others first.

What ever you did for these, (all the OTHERS in your life) you did for ME.
Come to ME, Jesus says.

He is the way. No one comes to the Father except thru Him.
I am in the Father and the Father is in ME.
Jesus promises that He is the bread of life. He will sustain you.
Jesus says it’s all about believing in HIM and not yourself.
The title of this message is IT’S ALL ABOUT ME! Well, it is. It’s just a different ME than you expected. The ME in this message is JESUS and it IS all about Him and having Him in your life.
If He’s not, Then talk to Him and ask Him into your Life. Make Him the center of it and you’ll see things, your life, your attitude, your relationships, your job, your prayers – EVERYTHING will change. Take a chance and you’ll find that BELIEVING OUTSIDE THE BOX you’ve been living in by your SELF – is AMAZING when HE is the most important ME in your life.

Today I am Thankful that I have had the opportunity to talk to you. I am Thankful that Jesus is at the center of my life, that He’s in control instead of me and that HE IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ME in my life.
What are you Thankful for?
I’m sure God would love to hear from you and so would I.
Blessings VICTORIA
We really do as human beings think that it is about us all the time. I am finding out more in my walk that it is not about me all the time. The things I go through God allowed because of His Will. And when it is over what I realize is that it was for the next person who I meet that will be coming down that exact same road.
